FROM A CLASSROOM IDEA TO INDUSTRY COLLABORATION
Seeing DataBridge 2026 shared by DSTI is a proud moment for us at Sierra EduTech Solutions SL Ltd.
When we started putting this programme together, the vision was simple: our students should not only learn technology, they should understand where those skills can take them.
Throughout the semester, the Year 3 Information Systems students have been introduced to Data Analytics with Python, working from raw data and analysis through to Machine Learning. DataBridge 2026 is about taking that learning one step further by connecting them with people applying these skills in the real world.
As Founder & CEO of Sierra EduTech Solutions, this speaks directly to what we are building as a company. We want to help close the gap between education, practical digital skills and industry opportunities.
Having DSTI contribute to this experience is particularly important. It gives our students an opportunity to interact with professionals working within Sierra Leone's technology and innovation ecosystem and to hear directly about the realities, opportunities and expectations beyond university.
My appreciation goes to DSTI, the Department of Information Systems and Technology, our invited professionals and alumni, and everyone working behind the scenes to make tomorrow possible.
Tomorrow, we bridge the gap.
From Python to Industry.
From learning to impact.
